Dentists | 2006 Reforms
The introduction of Units of Dental Activity (UDA) has forced dentists to look not only the way they obtain remuneration for their work, but on the way they run their whole practice. The changes have implications for the way in which staff are paid and decisions on NHS versus private dentistry.
Just as the GMS contract for GPs continues to evolve, so the 'New Contract' for dentists will continue to shift in response to market forces, government policy and representations from the BDA.
We can help you to work through the changes and their implications for your practice.
