Watson Esam Solicitors

News | A match made in Paradise

The new firm, which will remain in the historic square, will combine the experience of two well respected and established practices. By consolidating their highly regarded family and private client teams the new enterprise will provide added value to clients of both firms. Peter Clark, managing partner at Graysons said “We are confident that the merger of two such strong and respected firms will serve to enhance our services to clients, complementing our specialisms in personal injury, industrial disease and clinical negligence work and bolstering our family and private client expertise. We see this as a natural progression for both firms to address current challenges and to adapt to meet our clients’ needs.”

Kate Fitzpatrick, managing partner at Watson Esam agreed “This is the right time for our two firms, rooted in Sheffield, both with long traditions and shared values, to join forces. It is an excellent opportunity, utilising the proven skills of our joint teams to provide a comprehensive package of services for all our clients.”

The merged firm will be based at 4-12 Paradise Square and also has offices in Saltergate, Chesterfield.

Watson Esam partner Jay Bhayani will be pursuing her ambition to create a niche employment law practice elsewhere. She says in support "I am delighted that this progressive merger is taking place which I believe will be of great benefit to the two firms and their clients.”

Peter and Kate agree that the alliance between the two firms provides exciting new opportunities and opens another chapter in the square’s history.
